Wave Links Hair Studio specializes in customized hair coloring while maintaining the integrity of your hair, so each hair color candidate will receive a FREE color consultation prior to setting their appointments to receive their personalized hair color experience. After you have received your hair color service you could also visit our nationally published Makeup Artist chair to adjust your makeup to compliment your new hair color whether it be Blonde Highlights, Red, Ombre, Copper, Color Melting, or one of the new bold Fashion Colors.

We offer an array of Hair Extension techniques, such as Braiding, Lace Front Application, Interlock, Bonding, and Quick Weaves. During your consultation (which is also provided without cost) we will decide which technique would be best suited for your individual styling needs.

I have been been coming to Mikiko for a number of years. She is more than a beautician. She is my mentor my counselor my pray warrior etc. She is a professional beautician that takes pride in her work. She specializes in healthy hair. I could never say enough about this God fearing women. I am so grateful for my pastor recommending me to her and now she can NEVER get rid of me. Now let’s talk about the atmosphere. When coming into the salon every Thursday you feel right at home. Ms. Dee the owner is such an amazing woman of God as well as an amazing beautician. The salon gives home vibes. I LOVE IT HERE!

I truly love Wave Links Hair Studio this salon is amazing! Nat is great stylist. In this salon, the stylist are knowledgeable regarding hair whether you are natural or relaxed. I 'am natural but I desired a more manageable hair regiment. Nat utilized the STS smoothing system' it really does wonders, for managing natural hair. The system does not change the texture of your at all. The STS system provides more manageable and flexible, for natural hair. DEIRDRE CLAY
Deirdre “Dee” Clay graduated in 1984 from Sir Walters Beauty Academy in Fayetteville NC. Believing that education is the key to advancement in her profession, Dee was recognized by the North Carolina State Beauticians and Cosmetologist Association as the “Top Educator of North Carolina,” in 2001. As a component for continued education, Dee strives to accelerate her skills level by taking advanced classes from schools such as Toni & Guy Hair Cutting Academy, Sassoon Academy, Dudley Cosmetology University, Matrix Color Class, Paul Mitchell, IMYB Makeup, Surface Haircutting, and Pivot Point.
MIKIKO BOYD
Mikiko “Nat” Boyd is a native of Fayetteville North Carolina and has been a professional cosmetologist for 20 years. Mikiko’s hair journey began in November 1999 after successfully completing cosmetology school at Mitchell’s Hairstyling Academy in Fayetteville NC. Mikiko believes in continuing her education, therefore she engages in look and learn, and hands-on classes under some of the greatest in the industry. Mikiko has successfully completed hands-on cutting, coloring, business, and makeup classes under Dudley, Influance Hair Care, Design Essentials, Mpact Beauty, and Dimensions of Color.
ASHLEY SELLERS
Ashley Sellers, is a Charleston, SC native who completed cosmetology school at Fayetteville Technical Community College in 2020. Ashley believes in dedicating her time towards her passion of cosmetology by striving towards proficient skills in natural hair care, artificial hair installs, makeup, nails and waxing. She continues to further her education and skill set by taking classes offered by Influence, Paul Mitchell, and Pivot Point.
This is a VERY professional hair salon with a very friendly staff.
