Naomi Russell
Owner of Hair and Make-Up By Naomi, Naomi has already been where some stylist only dream of going. She is an international published stylist and make-up artist with her work being featured in Hotlanta Hair Directory, Black Hair Sophisticates, Hype Hair, Universal Salons and Style-Q among others.
After graduating from Beauty Careers Training Center in Florida she trained under Master Stylist Erma Stevens then decided to return home to Atlanta where she could network with the movers and shakers in cosmetology. "You have to be in the right place at the right time to reach your goals. To meet celebrates I had to go where they are". Mused this dynamic young lady.
Since moving back home she has worked on BET, MTV and TV-1. She also did the make-up and styles for the play "Dream Girls" starring Jennifer Holiday and the Independent Screen Actors Guild's film "Naked" with Terri Vaughn.
Young Jezzy, actor and recording artist, Tyrese, Gucci Mane and Elephant Man, a Jamaican Artist is also in her portfolio. Naomi was a featured platform stylist at the Bronner Brother's Show in Maryland this year.
"A stylist or anyone for that matter, needs to be great at what they do and show only their best consistently", says Ms Russell as she plans to expand her celebrity clientele as well as her regulars while continuing to produce creative and innovative styles, healthy hair and beautiful faces.
