This is a style meant to be worn to a party! Hair is buzzed at the nape of the neck and neatly trimmed to clean lines. A light hair color is applied to the longer hair just on the right side of the crown to highlight the nest of curls that will be placed there. Hair is left longer in the back and at the top of the head. Using a 1/2″ curling iron make small, tight curls randomly at the back of the head. An office-to-evening out style with a ton of personality and sas! Medium-length hair is pieced out throughout the top layer of the crown from from to back and each section is styled with a curling iron or a flat iron from the roots for lift. The longer side and back pieces are flipped up and outward at the ends. The underlying layer is curled upward at the ends for a fun flip. Bangs are combed flat across the forehead from temple to temple and cropped a bit shorter in the center for an arched appearance. This is a simple yet sophisticated style for short hair. For added pizzaz, hair color can be applied to just the ends of the bangs to highlight the eyes and cheekbones. To achieve this style, hair must be textured or relaxed. If hair color is to be applied, use it on the bottom 1/2″ to 1″ ends of bangs. Sides are cropped ultra-close and lines shaved in at temples for effect, if desired.
